Wine has been around for centuries, and throughout time, it has adapted and evolved with both nature and fashion. But environmental changes seem to be quite rapidly progressing, and with such climatic shifts and revised conditions come a plethora of considerations on how we most suitably can continue to cultivate and create vine and wine. In partial answer to this call, and in response to climate change and resulting disease pressure in the vineyards, today’s winemakers are ushering in a new era with hybrid grape varieties at the fore.
